Job Description

We have a fantastic and rare opportunity for an Apprentice Business/Project Assistant to support the Chairman and his Executive Assistant (EA). This is an exciting, fast-paced, varied role and high profile that requires first-class support and a great deal of flexibility.

If you are organised, competent, reliable, well presented and are able to communicate well this role is the perfect step towards a successful career! You should be curious and open-minded with a craving to learn within a successful business.

The role will off the opportunity to obtain a nationally recognised Project Management Qualification, a Level 4 qualification funded via the Together Apprenticeship levy.

The usual working hours are 11.00 - 19.30 Monday - Friday, however you may be required to be flexible to cover sickness and holidays.

Duties include:

  • Diary management: prioritising and scheduling meetings, and appointments.
  • Travel organisation and itineraries, accommodation, visas, transportation, and transfers.
  • Acting as an ambassador, gatekeeper and point of contact for the Chairman at all times, dealing with all matters in an efficient, confidential and reliable manner
  • Meeting and greeting visitors, clients and investors
  • Coordination and support of different events
  • Covering for the Chairman's EA during holidays/sickness
  • Project support and market research, preparing reports and related documentation for the Chairman
  • Liaison with suppliers, investors, developers - maintaining and building relationships.

Skills required:

  • Strong administrative skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook
  • Attention to detail with strong time management and organisation skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach
  • Good communication skills
  • Confidentiality
  • Resilient, flexible and adaptable to change - able to work in a fast paced environment
