This is a highly audience focussed, creative role and you must have a keen interest in social media and email marketing.

Duties will include:
  • Website maintenance
  • You will be responsible for managing our online reputation, and will drive growth and brand awareness via our Twitter and LinkedIn platforms
  • Posting on a regular basis to ensure both of the channels are active and responding to comments and messages to ensure the followers are well engaged
  • You'll lead the development and re-launch of our website and online content, this will include developing and producing a range of offline and online marketing materials for example digital banners, info graphics and other graphical material for use on our website, social media and other digital channels
  • You'll undertake digital image editing and design materials for print media (leaflets, flyers, etc.) to assist the Sales team
  • Designing and completing successful email marketing campaigns using software such as dotMailer and follow up on potential business enquiries will be a key element of your role
  • To deliver your role you'll be liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers (incl. agencies) and partner organisations, this will be critical during your role organising and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
  • Finally, collecting and analysing research information to understand target audience behaviour and views across the market will be important as you'll plan and deliver tactical integrated marketing campaigns contributing to the overall marketing strategy, and report monthly to Directors to ensure everyone is kept up to date with progress, delivery and successes

  • Creating interesting blog content for all media channels and our website
  • Enhance web SEOand website development and maintenance
  • Developing and executing a social media calendar/content plan to support our wider marketing strategy
  • Develop and deliver targeted media and email campaigns
  • Develop physical marketing materials and organising trade exhibitions, and marketing shows
  • Design, deploy and monitor email marketing campaigns (via dotMailer)
  • Helping maintain our customer email database
  • Excellent organisational skills with ability to work under pressure
  • Graphic design skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Personal qualities

  • Keen to develop a career in Digital Marketing with previous work experience within social media an advantage but not essential
  • Able to work as part of a team with good work ethic
  • Good knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Must be able to organise and manage own workflow
  • Self-learner with a 'can do' attitude

Desired qualifications

  • As a minimum Grade C/4 or above or equivalent inGCSEs English Language or English Literature and maths
  • Relevant qualifications or experience within the creative and digital areas
