Hernshead Recruitment is a recruitment agency focusing on providing specialist skills into the technology and engineering sectors. They support businesses across additive manufacturing, automation, special purpose machinery, renewable energy and food and FMCG sectors.

They were founded in July 2019 by experienced recruiter Tom Johnson and Lord Sugar with a focus on the growth of technology and engineering in the UK, not just by helping recruit specialist skills, but also by providing consultative advice and support to the engineers of the future.

Hernshead not only cover traditional recruitment but also work directly on behalf of companies spending time on site with them, integrated within the business.

We're looking for a Business Administration Apprentice to join us and complete a level 3 qualification over 12-18 months. You'll work within the business alongside completing training and studies. As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will undertake a range of on and off the job training activities as part of a structured programme.

You'll be responsible for:

* Coordinating the delivery of recruitment projects, ensuring documentation is kept updated for clients and internal consultants.

* Working with external clients to create recruitment proposals and documentation

* Supporting consultants by using LinkedIn to research and identify candidates

* Ensuring website and external job postings are kept up to date and correct

* Answering any incoming calls or communication to the business

* Organising client content and liaising as point of contact with the external production company

* Providing assistance to marketing including social media and news.

* Creation of invoices and submittal to clients

* Responsibility for creating and tracking client terms of business

* Data entry, utilising skills with Excel

* Maintaining the office hardware & stationary

Along with this you'll be given an insight into the running of the business along with the opportunity to work closely with Lord Sugar & his team.

We're seeking someone who is interested in business and progressing a long-term career within a growing business. You'll ideally hold GCSE's in Maths and English and will be a proactive & flexible individual with strong verbal and written communications skills
