Duties and responsibilities include:
  • To provision lines to customers via external portals (Ethernet, EFM, P2P, ADSL, FTTC, ISDN, PSTN)
  • To handle and manage number porting from ISDN/PSTN to SIP
  • Managing connectivity orders with ISP project managers and necessary internal departments to deliver a successful project
  • Coordinating all communication from 3rd parties back to the customers
  • Make sure that customer requirements are met by 3rd party suppliers
  • Manage appointments and set customer expectations
  • Respond to customer queries
  • Escalating orders and queries internally or with suppliers where necessary
  • Manage changes to requirements during provision
  • Contribute to the enhancement of departmental systems and practices
  • Pre-sales assistance for hosted and connectivity solutions

Desired qualifications

As part of this apprenticeship you will also be required to attain Functional Skills at Level 2 in both maths and English. GCSE Grades C (4) or equivalent in these subjects are accepted as an exemption, support will be provided to those apprentices who may not have this achievement.

Future prospects

Following your apprenticeship there will be a progression salary available of £18,000 dependent on successful apprenticeship completion and continued attainment of KPIs.
