About Miller

We are a leading insurance and reinsurance broker, founded in 1902. We operate in Lloyd's, London and international markets. Miller are headquartered in London, and have a network of over 650 colleagues worldwide.

We are looking for 5 Apprentices to join us in insurance and credit control, with 4 roles in Ipswich, and 1 role in London. Our apprentices become permanent and valued colleagues from day one, with support to achieve their Level 2 or 3 qualification, and an assigned mentor.

What qualifications are we looking for?

  • GCSE Maths & English minimum grade C or 4
  • Predicted or achieved UCAS score of 96 under the new UCAS tariff system (September 2017 onwards) or 240 under the old UCAS tariff system (pre-September 2017)

Roles available

Insurance Apprenticeship (Level 3)

You will use your expert knowledge to enable the placement and delivery of insurance coverage, and will join a vibrant community of insurance professionals worldwide. We have three technical roles available, one of which is in our claims team:

Technician Apprenticeship (Level 3)

  • Support the team with servicing clients
  • Assist with the production of insurance documentation
  • Process business on our systems
  • Liaise with other teams at Miller to ensure clients needs are met.
  • Perform quality control checks on documentation

Claims Apprenticeship  (Level 3)

  • Respond to and support the settlement of claims
  • Ensure timely processing of claims documentation
  • Liaise with other teams at Miller to ensure clients needs are
  • Maintain and update in-house systems
  • Perform quality control checks on documentation

Credit Control Apprenticeship (Level 2)

  • How to monitor payments
  • How to assign payments
  • How to chase payments
  • The role will help you build strong analytical and communication skills
