What will the apprentice be doing?
Construction Managers are responsible for delivering building projects such as schools, hospitals and office buildings. They manage a project from conception through to completion. Day to day they are responsible for managing subcontractors, liaising with clients and ensuring the quality and safe delivery of projects.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Alongside working on one of our sites, you will attend Leeds College of Building on a block release basis, where you will work towards a Higher Apprenticeship (Level 4) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Upon successful completion of the Level 4 programme, many of our Apprentices progress on to a Level 6 Apprenticeship, where they work towards their Degree.
You will also get the opportunity to gain a professional qualification with the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)
