- To leadthe general runningand cleanliness of the nursery
- Help staff with their duties
- Interactand encourage children
- Communicate with parents/carers to help them understand their child's progress
- Caring for the children aged 3 months to 12 years
- Lead planning activities suitable for the age and development of the children to meet the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum
- Help with preparation of snack time
- Lead cleaning of the areas within the nursery

- Ability to relate well to children and adults in a calm and patient manner
- Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, and work co-operatively with parents
- Ability to be adaptable to meet the variable needs of different children and the nursery
- Ability to leada team
- Ability to help plan activities appropriate to the ages and developmental stages of the children
- Ability to keep written records and to write short reports
- Ability to take responsibility of a group of children
- Ability and willingness to work with children of any age between 6 months and 16 years

Desired qualifications
