Duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Support a range of service development and redesign programmes from concept through to delivery in order to deliver the main objectives in the NEE Health and wellbeing Alliance Local delivery plan, CCG operational plan, NHS long term pan, Five Year Forward View, GP Forward View and NEE Health & Wellbeing Alliance, using an all age approach and promoting the integration of physical and mental health services
  • Responsible for supporting the CCG and NEE Health & Wellbeing Alliance and ICS Transformation programmes of work across the transformation spectrum of work
  • Exercise autonomy in proposing and progressing service change
  • Undertake robust commissioning processes, working with providers that will ensure the delivery of high quality, accessible and cost-effective services to meet the diverse needs of the population and which contribute to the delivery of the key targets and priorities
  • Support the design of care pathways and service specifications, in line with best evidence-based practice and patient choice
  • Design monitoring arrangements for new and existing services and ensure that these are implemented and reviewed
  • Develop and maintain systems and processes that ensure that the health needs of the population are addressed in commissioning strategies and plans, ensuring that services commissioned are aware of the needs assessment and take a proactive approach to facilitating change to match needs
  • Develop a range of appropriate methods which facilitate the development of effective working relationships and involvement of key stakeholders and patient groups in commissioning priorities and decisions

Desired qualifications

Essential:
  • Diploma plus management qualification or experience to post-graduate level/ experience of operating at this level
  • Maths and English GCSE level 5/6

  • Project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2)


Future prospects

  • Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship (18month) employee will be offered Alliance Transformation Lead role, Band 7
