Duties will include:
  • Arranging meetings
  • Preparing agendas, taking appropriate follow-up action as required
  • Supporting the team with recruitment
  • Providing administration support to the overall team
  • Gathering information and assisting with the running of events
  • Handling of enquiries made to the team
  • Developing and maintaining effective electronic and paper filing systems, to ensure that information is kept securely and is accessible to other members of the team
  • Assisting with the management of the team mailbox
  • Supporting the development of policy work
  • Assist with the preparation of responses to Parliamentary Questions and Ministerial briefings, with support from the team
  • Communicating business-sensitive personal information in a secure manner
  • Contributing to the Data Policy team's work on the Covid-19 pandemic, attending meetings as required
  • Developing and maintaining effective electronic and paper filing systems to ensure that information is kept securely and is accessible to other members of the team
  • Managing the electronic diary for the department, including arranging and changing appointments, prioritising these as appropriate


Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Experience of working in an office or in a team environment gained through education, home, work or work placements
  • Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
  • Working to a high standard in all they do

Desired qualifications

4 GCSE's or equivalent including maths and English.

Future prospects

After your Project Management apprenticeship progress into Project Management, Digital Transformation Manager, Business Development Lead, Programme Manager, Transformation Director and Process Transformation Director or other management roles within your field.
