Vacancy description:

We are looking to recruit a hospitality team member apprentice to work on front of house main duties are stated below.


  • To deliver the highest possible standards of service whilst actively improving turnover 
  • Deliver our business values with every interaction 
  • Always be part of the team and continually strive to enchance individual & team performance 
  • Be aware of the health and safety issues and help ensure the well-being of guest and colleagues 
  • 'Do that little bit extra' - constantly beat guest expectations 

Customer Service:

  • Making sure everyone feels welcome as they walk through the door 
  • Ensure that the customer receives 'hospitality' and make sure you understand their needs 
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to every customer request 
  • Continually improving standards of service 
  • Attention to detail at all times as everything matters 


  • Excellent working knowledge of menu and special items - refresh knowledge on this every week 
  • Good working knowledge of the wine list, food menu, cocktails and all drinks 
  • Fully complete and comprehend your induction training pack 
  • Ensure you are properly briefed for each and every shift - Specials, availability recommendations etc 
  • Participate and support ongoing training from your manager 


  • Ensure restaurant looks its best at all times. Properly execute the restaurant cleaning rota 
  • Attention to detail - table setting, polishing cutlery, clean floors, tent cards and menus
  • Thoroughly complete opening and closing duties at the end of every shift
  • Ensure that every problem, however small, is dealt with immediately and the manager informed
  • Encourage communication- Inform the manger of any shortages/ shortcomings in our standards 
  • Look after the building and equipment. Report any problems immediately

  • Must have your own transport or the easy ability to travel to and from work 
  • Be flexible with your working hours when necessary 
  • Able to work weekends and bank holidays 
  • Be prepared to learn new skills and knowledge whilst you work
