You'll be responsible for the provision of the quality procurement service to both internal and external Kier stakeholders. With the appropriate training and guidance, you can expect to provide comprehensive and efficient purchasing services to our Construction and Infrastructure based businesses and undertake tenders to secure competitive pricing. You will also spend time with our Category Management team and Buying team to further develop and strengthen your skills in the procurement environment.

We're looking for someone who has a passion, and dedication, for a career in Procurement. To be successful in the role you'll have excellent customer service skills, being able to build and maintain strong relationships at Kier and with external stakeholders.
With proven skills in working within a team, you'll have strongproblem-solving skills all whilst being able to keep organised. Previous experience in using Microsoft Office packages (Excel/Teams/Outlook) is also desirable.organisational skills

Desired qualifications
To be eligible for the programme you need a minimum of at least two A-Levels or equivalent (or international alternative) or a CIPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate qualification is required. Alternatively, you will have two years' relevant experience in a business environment.
Future prospects
An exciting opportunity to begin your career in Procurement, you could go on to continue providing purchasing services, undertaking tenders and securing competitive pricing. Or you could move into category management or buying teams to further expand your knowledge.
