THIS POST IS FIXED TERM FOR 12 MONTHS DUE TO MATERNITY COVER

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative Speech and Language Therapist to join a well-established, supportive and experienced Adult Speech & Language Therapy Team. This post is fixed term for 12 months.

Supervision and support will be provided by our experienced team of Speech and Language Therapists whether you are newly qualified or looking to develop your existing skills.

As a successful candidate, you will have a recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree and HCPC registration. You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills (including observation, listening and empathy skills) to support the individual needs of patients, and families, working together with other professionals. With support, you will organise, plan and prioritise your own workload, and develop appropriate strategies for caseload management.

The successful candidate will work alongside other Speech and Language therapists within the Acute and Community Speech and Language Therapy Teams with an opportunity to work with a varied caseload, including Parkinson's disease, dementia and stroke.
