Now is an exciting time to join the Trust Services' education team at UHBW which supports a wide and diverse range of education for both clinical and non-clinical development across the Bristol and Weston locations. Following the implementation of an education strategy, and as part of a newly merged organisation, a number of new and existing vacancies have now become available to help support the Trust and our external partners' ambition, to become a beacon of outstanding education.

The appointee will join the Trust, as we embark upon a greater focus of blended learning in our delivery of education. The post holder will be expected to support and develop innovative ways of delivering training and learning within the Weston Division.

As a new role, the post holder will oversee the business planning, implementation and maintenance of an apprenticeship offer within the Weston Division. The post holder will oversee the operational activity to support the apprenticeship offer within the division to support workforce priorities and individual career pathways. The post holder will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to maintain and deliver the apprenticeship provision. The post involves developing the pipeline to support the apprenticeship offer, including promotional activities with schools and colleges in support of Trust apprenticeship recruitment.

The post holder will lead and manage the oversight of the apprenticeship provision within the division, reporting to senior managers on key metrics, to provide an impactful and high quality apprenticeship offer. The role is central in supporting the division to implement a sustainable apprenticeship model aligned to local supply and workforce priorities.
