NHS North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group is an ambitious, innovative and dynamic clinically led organisation that has been fully authorised with no conditions by NHS England.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our innovative and fast paced workforce team as an Apprenticeship Lead for the Integrated Care System (ICS). The purpose of this role is to ensure the Suffolk and North East Essex ICS effectively delivers the objectives of the ICS Apprenticeship Strategy, maximises its apprenticeship capacity and has robust processes in place to attract, select and train high calibre apprentices to ensure the next generation of health and care workforce. The successful candidate will be a specialist for the ICS for all existing and future Apprenticeship Programmes which will include the implementation and embedding of a sustainable apprenticeship strategy in consultation with a wide range of stakeholders. You should have the ability to influence changes in others that support the implementation of the agreed Apprenticeship Strategy and develop and maintain a strong understanding of the local and national apprenticeship agendas, acting as an ICS subject matter expert in this regard. The post holder will need to provide analysis of trends/data and recommendations for action.

The workforce team is a busy department so excellent organisation and communication skills and attention to detail are essential.

The role will report into the Head of People and Culture. You will need to be able to manage your own time and workload efficiently and effectively and be able to work with minimum supervision.
