Apprentice Learning & Development Administrator

We are offering a unique apprenticeship to someone who would like to work in a busy and dynamic team dedicated to supporting staff development. This is an opportunity to achieve a nationally recognised qualification at the same time working at the very heart of the Trusts Learning & Organisational Development (L&OD) team. Whilst the role is based at St Catherine's Health Centre, Birkenhead, the successful candidate will in reality work primarily from their home during the foreseeable future and the appropriate IT equipment will be provided.

The successful candidate will have their own portfolio of work which will primarily focus on the administration, input and collation of data for the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) which hosts all training records for the Trust. This includes creating sessions, managing bookings, issuing attendance sheets, recording completions and supporting reporting compliance. An eye for process, detail and consistency are key qualities to support these functions. In addition you will have opportunities to learn and support other elements L&OD team who look after student placements across, the breadth of clinical education and social care along with apprenticeships.

To allow you to fulfil your role a high level of communication will be required by phone and email to colleagues across the Trust, Subject Matter Experts who deliver training and externally to our educational partners.

You will be supported on a daily basis by the Learning & Development Coordinator and the Learning & Development Manager. Based on your existing skills you will be enrolled on an appropriate apprenticeship to maximise your skills. You will be supported on your apprenticeship by a friendly administrative team and tutors associated with our apprenticeship provision.

In addition to a funded apprenticeship you will receive an £13,816 salary which will increase to £18,005 on successful completion of the apprenticeship.
