Education plays a significant role in the current context and future ambition of the University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust, and an ongoing commitment to education is a core part of the Trust's strategy.

Now is an exciting time to join the Trust Services' education team at UHBW which supports a wide and diverse range of education for both clinical and non-clinical development across the Bristol and Weston locations. Following the implementation of an education strategy, and as part of a newly merged organisation, a number of new and existing vacancies have now become available to help support the Trust and our external partners' ambition, to become a beacon of outstanding education.

The appointee will join the Trust as we embark upon a greater focus of blended learning in our delivery of education. The post holder will be expected to support and develop innovative ways of delivering training and learning.

The post holder will lead an integrated, inclusive Management and Customer Services development programme for staff and trainees within the Trust and across all of its sites. This will align with existing provision and implement a clear pathway for progressive management development that meets both clinical and non-clinical workforce priorities aligned to internal training and some apprenticeship provision.

It is expected that the role will lead on the development and delivery of customer service and management education programmes using innovative methods of education to support a blended delivery model. The post holder will manage the development of the programme to ensure the course content is fit for purpose and meaningful, there will also be an element supporting learners in their progression to ensure the timely completion of their studies. Therefore, the candidate should also have a good understanding of apprenticeship standards and assessment within this field.

The post is an exciting opportunity to help advance the Trust's education strategy, with high quality learning that directly supports delivery of safe and outstanding patient care. There is an expectation that the post holder will work across Bristol and Weston sites to develop an inclusive and diverse management development pathway.
