Anstey ward is offering a fantastic development opportunity for a motivated, forward thinking individuals who are dedicated to providing excellent care. We are keen to develop our Health Care Support workers and we are currently exploring the nursing apprenticeship program to enable some individuals to become trained nurses with our support. This is an exciting opportunity where you will be able to demonstrate your skills as a Health Care Support worker who is focused on continually improving outcomes for patients.

With the launch of Integrated Intermediate Care, Alton Community Hospital is focusing on new initiatives and aims to prevent acute hospital admissions. With increased patient acuity this is an exciting opportunity to deliver more acute complex nursing care in the community setting.

Anstey ward also offers rehabilitation for patients to promote independence and optimize functional ability to enable them to return to their own homes.

Alton Community Hospital is a short drive away from Basingstoke, Winchester and Guildford and offers free parking. There is a direct train line to London so is a perfect commuter town.

A DBS check is required by the Employer for this post. The Employer will undertake an initial check at the appropriate level on appointment. As a condition of employment you are required to register with the online DBS update service and maintain this registration throughout employment; costs associated with this will be reimbursed, subject to taxation in line with guidance from HMRC. You will comply with all Employer processes in order to provide yearly permission to the Employer enabling it to view your status and to undertake random checks as required. If you change to a role where a check would no longer be required this will be confirmed and you may end your membership if desired.
