Medical Secretary

Do you have excellent typing & secretarial skills, ability to multi-task and have good attention to detail?

We have an opportunity for a highly trained and motivated Medical Secretary to join our Mortuary Medical Secretarial Team. The post holder will provide a confidential medical secretarial service to the Consultant Histopathologists working on behalf of HM Coroner.

If you enjoy communicating with people, are a good team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills, with willingness to contribute to positive team working, we would like to hear from you.

You will be expected to liaise with staff and colleagues at all levels within the Trust and external organizations. You will have proven secretarial skills with the ability to prioritize & manage your own workload to required deadlines. It is essential that all work is completed to a consistently high standard and dealt with in a confidential manner.

You must have AMSPAR Level 3 or OCR/RSA Level 3 or equivalent relevant experience.

Experience of using Telepath and digital dictation system is desirable.

If you are successful you will be given the opportunity to study towards an apprenticeship at the appropriate level, which will be paid for by the Trust. If you are not looking to complete a qualification this is fine, we are interested in you and the skills you can bring.
