We are currently recruiting for a Practical Skills Trainer on a part time basis. This role will be based trust wide and you will be required to visit all of our central hospitals. We are looking for a trainer who is eager to share and utilise their passions and interests and has high expectations of themselves and of the individuals they teach

Some of your day to day duties will include but may not be limited to:
  • Supporting the delivery of efficient and effective practical and theory based training programmes for Facilities staff teams
  • Supporting the development of a workforce to deliver a safe effective service
  • To undertake training follow up audits for new and existing staff to check their competency to work in accordance with correct procedures as trained
  • To provide advice and support for staff in relation to cleaning and food service skills

The ideal candidate will:
  • Have experience of delivering training and be passionate about developing learning behaviours
  • Be committed to working hard to support the progress of our employees
  • Be able to inspire and motivate staff with creative approaches to teaching and learning
  • Have a proven strength in providing challenge for all learners
