We are looking for a highly motivated and high performing Pharmacy Technician to join our innovative and service-user-focused Pharmacy Team. This is a new leadership role created within the team, and will have a wide portfolio of responsibility across clinical services, workforce development, operational service delivery and quality improvement.

This is an excellent time to be joining the NELFT Pharmacy Team, as this post will have a leading role in some key projects, including (but not limited to) a system partnership apprenticeship programme, deployment of Omnicells, and development of a new clinical service model in inpatients and community settings. The service at NELFT has an outsourced provider to supply the entire medicines supply, logistics and dispensary service. The service is also progressive in having invested in Omnicell and EPMA (WellSky) technology across the Trust. This provides a platform to deliver a leading service delivery model in a large complex organisation that cares for some of the most vulnerable communities.

The successful applicant will need to be committed to self-development, have the ability to pay close attention to detail with excellent organisational and people skills. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development of patient focused services with opportunities to develop your own knowledge and skills.

This role will have line management and supervision responsibilities for the existing pharmacy technician team, and will work with the senior management team to promote continued growth of that team based on service need. The post holder will be expected to be a role model for the profession within the Trust.

You will need to be an experienced Pharmacy Technician, and be confident and capable in delivering projects and engaging teams. If you think you have what it takes to develop and grow this brand new post, we'd love to hear from you.
