Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (T&G ICFT) is committed to developing its information capability to help support effective decision making, and is seeking to recruit an information analyst, with drive and excellent interpersonal skills.

Working within a busy information team, based at Tameside Hospital FT, initially you will contribute to the development of a performance-focused culture where safety, effectiveness and patient experience are consistently delivered through the provision of high-quality performance information, analytical interpretation, benchmarking, forecasting and intelligent modelling.

You will be the information analyst for the Surgery, Women and Children Division initially although your workload will be across the whole breadth of the ICFT. You will work closely with the relevant Divisions to ascertain needs and ensure that these are met in a timely and efficient manner, automating reports and information using business intelligence tools.

You will play the key role in the development of the Trust's data warehouse for their area of responsibility and will be responsible for developing a 'self-service' approach to information, which will require the development of reports, and dashboards. You will also be key in supporting the production of management information to ensure the Trust meets all statutory obligations with National and local returns.

To succeed in this role you should have sufficient experience of information analysis and reporting ideally within a Foundation Trust. It is essential that you have advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite of products and advantageous if you are familiar with SQL. You must also possess good analytical skills and extensive knowledge of health information needs, data sets and statutory returns.

Appointment to Band 4/5 will be based on experience and advancement to Band 5 will be based on meeting the requirements of a progression framework and will not be time restricted.
