This is an exciting opportunity to work in a corporate learning and development team providing support to a national NHS organisation. You would be joining a team that is passionately committed and dedicated to offering an excellent service to the organisation.

About You

You will be highly organised with excellent levels of accuracy and attention to detail. You will have previous experience of working in an administrative, L&D or HR environment. You will be used to working at pace, providing a seamless administrative and customer focused service.

About the role

The Learning and Development Coordinator will provide and coordinate an effective and efficient corporate learning and development service to Health Education England (HEE) for all staff groups. This will include:
  • Being seen and recognised at the first point of contact for learning and development queries
  • Giving guidance to all staff and managers on the corporate learning and development policy, processes and offerings available
  • Coordinating and monitoring HEE apprenticeships; graduate scheme; line manager development programmes; staff development programmes; face to face workshops and e-learning packages
  • Providing workforce metrics to assist HR colleagues to identify strategic support required across HEE
  • Maintaining our in-house Learning Management System, giving guidance to all staff and managers on how to access and use this system
  • Being involved in adhoc project work to improve the learning and development service offered to the organisation

Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 4 with a full-time starting salary of £21,892, with a pay step increase after 3 years' service. These salaries are offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions and the HEE Pay Progression Policy and are subject to annual cost of living review.

The selection process will be in two stages:
  • Stage one will be telephone interviews & an assessment taking place on 7 December
  • Those successful at the first stage will be invited to a video interview on 10 December
