Welcome to Your Healthcare CIC, formerly part of NHS Kingston we are a not for profit social enterprise, proud of delivering patient-led, high quality health and social care community services for residents in Kingston & Richmond as part of the NHS family. Working as a Community Interest Company (CIC), our status allows us to invest any surplus or profit back into front line services, where it is needed.

The Role

You will play a key role in ensuring the management and smooth operation of Your Healthcare owned and managed sites. You will ensure that all sites are in accordance with all statutory and organisational guidelines, well managed, safe, clean, effective and efficient facilities for service users, staff, visitors and tenants and service delivery is customer focused.

You will also;
  • Provide day to day support for all sites to ensure the provision of a safe and appropriate working environment.
  • Manage all aspects of the hard & soft FM contract, liaising with sub-contractors and monitoring performance.
  • Be responsible for systems and planning to manage site Fire Safety, Health & Safety, Risk Assessments, Security and DSE requirements reporting on process across sites for integration into Health & Safety Committee
  • Provide high quality project and administrative support including gathering of information and analysis of contracts and managing payments inbound and outbound.
  • Support the completion of refurbishment projects, in-house moves and relocations as well as effectively monitor the use of accommodation and workspaces
  • Contribute to and lead the performance development of the team, effectively promoting the role of Front of House

About You

As a Facilities & Contracts Officer you will thrive in a busy environment, managing multiple priorities, some planned many unexpected and therefore you must be able to work under pressure. You will need to be flexible and organised with the ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, exercise influence, and to work as part of a team with a 'can do' attitude. You will need to be able to demonstrate a strong customer focus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are therefore important to this role.

You should have a background in FM operational maintenance management as well as the contract management and monitoring processes. This will suit someone who has a hunger to learn and a "can do" attitude. You will need to have a good understanding and experience of Microsoft Office applications, with the appetite to learn NHS specific applications i.e. SBS (financial) Oracle". You will be expected to travel to a number of sites as part of this role.
