Look no further, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team in Bridlington Hospital.

You will be joining a community focused hospital in the midst of some exciting changes and developments, with the added bonus of Bridlington being a fantastic place to work and live.

We are a supportive team with opportunities to work with advanced clinical specialist colleagues from York regularly, and we are currently looking for someone to dynamically lead and promote a culture of home first rehabilitation.

The post will be based on Johnson ward in Bridlington Hospital, with a self-motivated and aspirational MDT. We are looking for an experienced physiotherapist who has some experience in, or is keen to develop their skills in the areas of stroke and rehabilitation. A good knowledge of the SAFER principles will be beneficial. SAFER Principles underpin the Trusts ethos to ensure the efficient flow of patients through the system, so they are treated in the right place at the right time.

A person who is an excellent communicator with a flexible approach, and hasexisting, or an eagerness to establish, links with community partners and a passion for 'trusted assessor' principles, will be at an advantage when working on this ward. You will have opportunities to support junior staff and students, as well as drive and lead in service development projects and quality patient care.

The Trust actively promotes staff development through a structured support process which will be available to you for both clinical and managerial supervision, and encouragement to explore other learning opportunities. You will also have access to peer support both from the senior clinicians in Scarborough, as well as wider AHP peer support within the York Trust.

We run an excellent practical and simulation based on call training programme, and bite sized practical training sessions are available throughout the year.

HCPC registration and a degree/diploma in Physiotherapy is a requirement for this role.

DBS Checks

All new employees starting work with us will be charged for the cost of their DBS check if it is required for the role. The cost will be deducted from your salary either in 1 payment or over a six month period once you start employment. The charges are currently £27.20 for a standard check and £44.20 for an enhanced check. The level of check will be determined by the post you are applying for.
