They are looking for a passionate, highly driven and independent marketing executive to help build and implement a robust marketing plan for the company.

Your main role will be working with the founders of the company to help build a marketing plan for D-RisQ. This will involve taking the initiative and building the plan yourself. We are looking at the apprenticeship route as we want to make sure that the position has support from training and help deliver on expectations.
  • Help update, manage and protect the website
  • Deal initially with any customer enquiries from the phone or website
  • Network and engage with different businesses to help people understand our services
  • Spend significant time understanding the companies services and product
  • Be able to disseminate information and write clear copy and reports for different audiences
  • To manage social media channels, managing content and making sure it fits company brands
  • To build and implement a marketing plan for the company (with assistance from your training as an apprentice)
  • To manage and implement email campaigns for the company, telling stories and ideas that will interest their current client base
  • To communicate with current clients and make sure they are informed of new trends and developments
  • To have a passion and interest in digital and new technology
  • To write and deliver copy for the website and other advertising needs
  • To help with the logistics for sector relevant events
  • To deliver reports on marketing campaigns and act on changes that are needed
  • Create, design or enlist suppliers to design and produce creative content for the company

This is a level 4 position so we are looking for someone with some experience working in marketing.

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Basic understanding of social media and reporting tools
  • Understanding of how to manage and maintain a website - particularly with content updates
  • 1 year a least of working in marketing
  • Good IT skills - MS Office
  • Great and professional communication skills
  • Good writing skills with a flair for copy
  • Attention to detail
  • Proactive and positive with a can-do attitude
  • Understanding of real time systems
  • Interest/passion for high tech industry such as aerospace, autonomous systems, cyber security, etc.
  • Be able to recognise impact of regulatory needs

Desired qualifications

Applicants should be literate and numerate. GCSE grade C/4 and above or equivalent in English Maths and IT are preferable.

Future prospects

There is a full-time position here beyond the apprenticeship for someone willing to take on the responsibility of the role. D-RisQ are a company on the edge of technology solutions for large contracts.
