The community respiratory physiotherapy team is looking for a new team member who is motivated and experienced in the respiratory field.

The delivery of pulmonary rehabilitation and community respiratory physiotherapy is critical to the well-being and independence of those affected.

The work is challenging and rewarding so we are aiming to recruit someone who is experienced and qualified to support.

This is a development post and as such we would support and train the appropriate candidate with the aim of becoming a Specialist Respiratory Physiotherapist.

This would be achieved by undertaking postgraduate study in respiratory, gaining relevant experience and competencies within the specialised area.

The role requires travel across North Derbyshire. Face to face contact with patients is for interventions that are essential, all other interactions are completed remotely during pandemic.

Developments in virtual PR delivery are now operational with the use of Attend Anywhere and AirMid to deliver the sessions.

If you are interested, willing and able to join us we look forward to meeting you!!

We deliver patient care through 11 community hospitals, 4 minor injury units, 29 health centres and a learning disability centre. Another key part of our service is out in the community where we care for people in their own homes via therapists, health visitors and district nurses, and promoting public health in the wider community. As a Trust we care for patients of all ages with a special focus on the needs of elderly people and the very young.

DCHS has been recognised as a top 10 NHS organisation to work for in the UK by the Health Service Journal and NHS Employers in their Best Places to Work 2015 campaign. The Trust is also the runner-up in the category for the best NHS community trust employer.

Applications from job seekers who require current Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications.
