The Trust provides services to the 440,000 residents of Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre and North Lancashire, as well as specialist tertiary services in haematology, cystic fibrosis, cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery. Band 6 Associate Practice Education Facilitator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an NMC registered professional to join the Practice Education Facilitator (PEF) team. This role is to provide support to the PEF Lead for the Acute Services within the organisation at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
The PEF team provide support to supervisors, assessors, educators and healthcare learners who are undertaking university programmes of study whilst on clinical placements here at the Trust. The role includes supporting all learners including nursing, allied health professionals, apprenticeships and work experience programme.
The post holder will contribute to the provision of high quality multi-professional learning environments within Blackpool Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust. You will take an active role in ensuring the sustainability of learning and contribute to local and national conferences and working groups. The post holder will be required to work locally and across boundaries with services where inter-professional learning opportunities are promoted in line with the Quality Assurance Framework.
The successful candidate will be a NMC registered healthcare professional with a mentor/educator qualification. The candidate will also have extensive NHS experience with a minimum of 3 years experience post registration.
