The role is an integral part of the business covering all aspects of accounts receivables and payables as well as assisting the Financial Controller with broader aspects of the management reporting. There will be daily contact with people at all levels within the business to ensure smooth and efficient management of the transactional items.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
  • Management of the Purchase Ledger function, providing accurate and timely input of invoices into the finance system
  • Supplier statement reconciliations, preparing Aged Creditor reports, preparing and processing payment schedules and BACS runs, issuing remittance advices
  • Monitoring staff expenses and company credit card usage and responsibility for monthly processing onto finance system
  • Management of suppliers, ensuring new suppliers are vetted and existing suppliers are up to date
  • Management of petty cash, monthly reconciliation and input
  • Management of the Accounts receivables function, including daily finalisation of invoices and credit control
  • Advising and supporting the Client Services team on all aspect of client invoicing
  • Daily management of cashflow
  • Supporting the Finance Director and Financial Controller with other aspects of the finance function

Desired qualifications

  • A-levels A-C grades or equivalent (Desirable subjects - maths, Business, Accountancy)
  • A minimum of 5 GCSE's (9-4) (A*-C) grades including maths and English
