Exciting Opportunities for band 5 Registered Staff Nurses - Acute Admissions Unit / Short Stay on Ward 2

This important service development will enable us to effectively manage one of our largest growing patient populations - the acutely unwell patient requiring less than a 72 hour stay in hospital. This unit serves as an important addition to our Front of House Model which currently comprises an Emergency Department, Female and Male Assessment Units, a Rapid Access Frailty Unit and Ambulatory Emergency Care (AEC).

The opening of this unit is not only an important development for the Trust and the patients we serve but will also offer further career development opportunities for staff and we welcome applications from registered nurses who would like to be part of the Front of House Team.

To enable our front of house short stay model we are looking for talented, committed individuals to provide excellent patient care in a nurturing and supportive environment. As a Registered Nurse this post provides an exciting opportunity to work within the Acute Admissions Unit / Short Stay on Ward 2

Working as part of a caring and passionate nursing team you will responsibly deliver planned, direct patient care to a high standard without direct supervision in accordance with the Trust's established nursing procedures. Leading by example you will promote the safeguarding, wellbeing and interests of all patients and their families whilst taking personal responsibility for ensuring the needs of patients are achieved.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Trust's evolving front of house model in which you will develop your nursing, clinical knowledge, skills and aspirations within a continuous professional development environment.
