Our Medical Centre is a forward thinking Practice, based in Whitworth Lancashire. We are looking for a highly motivated, committed and enthusiastic individual to join our existing Primary Health Care Team, in providing personal medical services to patients within both the Practice and the community setting.

The successful applicant will be supported by 5 Doctors, 2 Practice Nurses, 2 HCAs and a very experienced Administration Team. The Practice has over 7000 patients and we aim to provide the highest quality care to our Practice population.

It is essential the applicant has at least 1 years post registration experiencewith qualifications and knowledge in chronic disease management, childhood and travel immunisation programmes and cervical cytology. Applicants should have previous Practice Nurse experience and be able to show evidence of continuing professional development. You should have expert communication and interpersonal skills and be computer literate. Knowledge of the EMIS clinical system is an advantage. Driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

We are offering flexible working (18 -22 hours per week over 3 days, which will include one 7pm finish), a competitive salary which is negotiable dependent on experience. Your continuous personal development will be encouraged and supported.
