We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to train as an Assistant Practitioners for the breast screening service based at The Royal Lancaster Infirmary.

The post holders would be required to successfully complete a Mammography Apprenticeship at the National Breast Imaging Academy.

You will be based at The Royal Lancaster Infirmary but would be required to work in clinics at all of the hospital sites within University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust and on our mobile screening units which currently have sites in Preston, Poulton, Lytham and Fleetwood.

You need to be able to work as an effective team member, demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and support the team in the delivery of patient-focussed care.

The vacancy is 37.5 hours, to be delivered over Monday-Friday. Part-time applicants will be considered.
