This is a technical role, which is revolved around data analytics.
Duties include:
- You will be using multiple data analysis tools (not just Excel)
- To collect and compile data from different sources within the company including the SAP database
- To Process, cleanse, analyse (including statistical analysis) and present data
- Run ad-hoc and standard data analysis reports and performance dashboards
- Perform data mining and forecasting
- Processing large amounts of data on a regular basis
Objectives and Key Tasks you will be working towards:
- Identify, collect and migrate data to/from a range of internal and external systems
- Collect and compile data from different sources
- Interpret and apply the organisations data and information security standards, policies and procedures to data management activities
- Work with the organisations data architecture
- Manipulate and link different data sets as required
- Perform database queries across multiple tables to extract data for analysis
- Perform routine statistical analysis and ad-hoc queries
- Use a range an analytical techniques such as data mining, time series forecasting and modelling techniques to identify and predict trends and patterns in data
- Assist with data quality checking and cleansing
- Assist production of performance dashboards and reports
- Apply the tools and techniques for data analysis, data visualisation and presentation
- Assist with the production of a range of ad-hoc and standard data analysis reports
- Summarise and present the results a data analysis to a range of stakeholders making recommendations
