  • Providing timely feedback to team members, recognising achievement, directly managing minor conduct and performance issues, and escalating more serious concerns to managers
  • Supporting new starters' completion of induction training and the Care Certificate, and recording observations of performance
  • Completing daily staffing allocations, ensuring that the needs of all service users in the home are met
  • Working with managers and Positive Support Coordinators to ensure that the team follows support plans and development programmes, and providing feedback so that these can be updated as needed

  • Ensuring that team maintains accurate and professional records, in line with Company policies and external regulations
  • Communicating effectively and professionally with inspectors, health professionals and other external people involved in the home and the lives of the people we support
  • Ensuring that team members attend all training and team meetings as required
  • Ensuring that the team complies with good practice and legislative requirements, including equality and diversity, confidentiality, health and safety, and following Company policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Raising any suggestions or concerns with your line manager in a responsible and appropriate way
  • Carrying out any other duties reasonably associated with your job title
