Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides services through its three hospitals in Andover, Basingstoke and Winchester. We provide all general hospital services for planned and emergency care as well as specialist services.

Looking for a role where you can make a difference?

Wanting to make a start in healthcare?

We have the role for you!

HHFT is offering a trainee Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship programme.

Join our dynamic healthcare team across a range of departments in our hospitals where you will complete the fully-funded HHFT Level 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship, gain a national qualification and upon completion, be offered a permanent substantive post!

The duration of the apprenticeship is 24 months. This a fantastic opportunity to work in healthcare, earn while you learn, and should you aspire to, progress your career towards a Nurse Associate or Registered Nurse role.

Please note: we will assess your eligibility for this programme before enrolment. You will be exempt from undertaking an apprenticeship if you have previously completed an equivalent apprenticeship, diploma or similar qualification.

You will be primarily assisting the nursing team with the care of patients and will facilitate the smooth running of the ward or department. You need to be driven and prepared to deliver high quality care and attention to detail. Previous experience in healthcare is not essential; however a positive approach, cheerful, kind and caring attitude, excellent team spirit and willingness to learn and develop will ensure you are a valued member of our team.

For the successful individuals we offer a friendly, motivated and caring environment, where all members of our team are respected, valued and supported to develop their skills in order to achieve a rewarding and fulfilling career - plus a range of employee benefits.

Your life outside HHFT is important and the Trust is happy to consider applications with flexible working patterns that cater to individual requirements; this can be discussed at interview.

We look forward to hearing from you!
