Are you looking to get your Administration Career started? We are looking for a Business Administration Apprentice to join our Resourcing team!

Working within a busy Resourcing team to help support the Consultants and coordinators, you'll be supporting the team with a variety of administrative functions
  • Answering telephones and act as a first point of contact for the Resourcing team, providing a polite and customer focussed service, dealing with recruitment enquiries from external and internal sources and directing calls to appropriate Resourcing team members
  • Assisting recruitment consultants to make contact with applicants and helping to arrange and confirm interviews via the phone and on email
  • Provide administrative and transactional services that crucially underpin the efficient and effective running of the Resourcing function as a whole e.g. making up files, filing etc
  • Helping to advertise roles on relevant recruitment websites and promoting the Sirona employer brand, especially via social media
  • Attending and supporting at recruitment events and assessment centres where necessary
  • Assisting the Resourcing team as required with maintaining and updating Resourcing logs and trackers

Although GCSE Grades A*-C (or equivalent) in Maths, English Language and Science are desirable, and knowledge or use of ICT preferred, Sirona CIC will also consider applicants who are willing to develop these through additional training to include Functional Skills as part of the apprenticeship programme.

Having the right attitude, work ethic and commitment to your education as well as your employment are essential requirements to this role.

As the successful apprentice you will undertake an Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration to include an NVQ, Technical Certificate, Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT (where applicable), Employment Rights & Responsibilities (ERR) and Personal Learning & Thinking Skills (PLTS).
Our Apprenticeship programmes are designed around a mix of on-the-job training and off-the-job learning, some of which may be classroom based.

You will be assigned a supervisor/mentor within the workplace, who will support you to develop your workplace skills, knowledge and experience throughout the duration of your apprenticeship programme.

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £4.15 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £6.45 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £8.20 for anyone aged 21-24. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
