We are looking for individuals with good communication and organisational skills and you will be given support to develop these and other skills further.

We welcome applications for applicants who are committed to completing the Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship Programme in 18 months and have an interest in Information Technology supporting both patient and clinical colleagues. In return we offer 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays and an NHS benefits scheme. You will earn a wage whilst working towards an Intermediate Apprenticeship in information technology (IT)- a nationally recognised qualification.

Work as a member of the IT Service Desk Team, spending time gaining experience as a Service Desk Analyst duties to enable a quality and effective IT Service Delivery.

You will assist with the day to day operation of the IT Service Desk, which involves keeping the customer at the heart of all service provided and working across the department to assist with various processes.
  • To gain knowledge and experience of customer service by answering telephone calls, emails and greeting customers on arrival to IM&T
  • To gain core IT skills to enhance service delivery
  • To carry out various admin functions and processes

There is an eligibility criteria for governance funded Apprenticeship Schemes that applies and therefore applicants must be aged 16 or over and have been resident in the UK/EU for the last three years
