Support Secretary/Typist

Division: Unplanned Care & Integrated Care

Care Group: Diagnostics and Clinical Support Services

Band: 3

Salary: £19,737 - £21,142 per annum/pro rata

We are recruiting for a Support Secretary/Typist who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.

The successful post holder will be expected to provide a full audio/copy typing and support secretarial service to the DCSS care group/

As Support Secretary/Typist you will ensure a timely typing turnaround of clinic letters and correspondence using BigHand and OPN systems

The Support Secretary/Typist will work in partnership with members of staff across the team, Directorate and wider organisation, external organisations as required and members of the public

The role will include making and answering telephone calls as required. In addition, you will be responsible for assisting with accurately outcoming and updating patient pathways and records using the Trust's Patient Administration System.
