NHS Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is a strategic component of the Integrated Care System (ICS) across Lincolnshire delivering the commitments set out in the NHS Long Term Plan.

As a strategic commissioner we are responsible for meeting the needs of our population through commissioning high quality services. We seek to improve patient experience and are committed at looking at innovative ways we can improve care and offer more choice. Patients are at the heart of everything we do and it's important that they are involved not just in decisions about their individual care, but also in the decisions that shape the health services delivered locally.

In conjunction, with patient experience and the growing demands of our population; we are facing increasing financial challenge. We are required to reduce expenditure to sustainable levels (in alignment to the ICS 5 year strategic plan) which broadly fall into three types of scheme; system wide transformation, system wide efficiency, CCG only efficiency.

RHCP Clinical Supervisor - Immunisations (Band 6)

The Lincolnshire Health and Care System has a focus on PREVENTION, PROVIDING PERSON CENTRED CARE, WORKING TOGETHER AND DELIVERING CARE CLOSE TO HOME. Our wish for our population is to " Start Well " - from pregnancy, birth and early weeks of life; through supporting development before starting school; to help in navigating the transition to adulthood, " Stay Well " - supporting a healthy lifestyle; ensuring urgent help to deal with accidents or acute illness; working together to manage long term conditions and " Die Well " - preparing, planning, caring & supporting those who are dying & the people who are close to them.

Despite our collective best efforts over the past few years as a system; the Covid-19 pandemic has more recently brought into sharp focus our need to continue to work better together and to provide enhanced and improved wellbeing support to our population and workforce, irrespective of the setting or organisation.

We accept there are no quick solutions to some of our challenges that we face, however we are committed to working together to find long term sustainable solutions and to make Lincolnshire the best place to work, so that all our colleagues can feel they belong and thrive.

There is no better time to join us as our local People Plan concentrates on getting "more people", "working differently" in a "compassionate and inclusive culture". We encourage our people to influence the way in which we continuously innovate and transform services, embracing learning and development for all to maximise personal and professional development, thereby offering an exciting and rewarding career. We ensure that regardless of where you work, what role you do, or how long you have worked within our System, you feel valued and motivated, that your health and wellbeing is of the utmost priority to us and that the contributions that you make every day are acknowledged and rewarded appropriately.

Lincolnshire STP are a team working in partnership across NHS Trusts and Care organisations, finding the right people for the right job roles in the response to COVID-19. We recruit caring and compassionate people, registered and non-registered, who have the right values to care for patients or provide administrative support to busy teams in a variety of settings when they are required. Individuals recruited will be ready to be assigned to urgent and immediate work placements, supporting the system in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

OPPORTUNITIES:-

We are looking for registered and non-registered individuals, ready to help and support the coronavirus effort through a variety of key roles, with placements of varying length - some roles may be required for 3-6 months on a fixed term basis and others ad hoc/bank to support based on urgent pressures. You will either be able to provide fulltime/consistent hours for a medium to long term period or join the bank to provide ad hoc support as and when required. If you are an existing member of staff within the Lincolnshire System the placements below will be in addition to your current employment. However if you are looking to return to clinical work, perhaps having previously retired we will endeavor to try and be flexible to suit your working preferences aligned to service need. Once your initial placement comes to an end, we would wish to engage with you regarding any further opportunities in order to retain your skills and expertise.

In return, we can offer you new career/job opportunities, flexible hours and contracts, training and skill development and the necessary PPE to keep you and the people around you safe and well, competitive pay, placements at various locations across Lincolnshire and the chance for you to directly help your community.

In particular the post holder will be responsible for:
  • Clinical and operational oversight of an area
  • Governance of the site
  • Overall staff supervision
  • Address any concerns that may arise on site
