What will you do?

You will be part of the Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) Logistics team based at our UK R&D Hub in Stevenage, which is the heart of innovation, discovering and developing differentiated, high-quality and needed medicines that are bringing transformational benefit to patients.

Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) Logistics is a component of Supply Chain Operations which is a broad and fast-moving field supporting labelling, global logistics, capacity planning, demand forecasting, patient supply coordination and clinical site onboarding. CGT Logistics Scientists blend experience and knowledge from a wide range of fields and organisations, and continuously seek to expand their range of supply chain and technical skills.

On our 4-year programme you'll receive tailored on-the-job training from industry experts from day one combined with early responsibility to help you to develop and progress. You'll be working towards a Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Supply Chain Management.

You will be:
  • Supporting the scheduling and oversight of time critical shipments
  • Ensuring appropriate actions are taken to resolve issues during shipments
  • Measuring and monitoring Logistics Provider performance
  • Supporting shipping lane mapping and risk management
  • Contributing to continuous improvement projects to drive high performance and efficiency within our global supply chains
  • Developing shipment packaging solutions
