What will the apprentice be doing?
As an Electrical Engineering Apprentice you will learn about PCB design and test equipment as well as get an insight into materials and electronic packaging.
You will complete rotational placements around the business in environments where you will learn how electrical engineering is applied and you will also have the opportunity to complete an external placement with a contractor or supplier.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
On this 4 year programme you will study towards an Electrical Engineering degree at Hertfordshire University on day release for a minimum of one day per week, which will be funded by MBDA. Your on the job training will be within the Electrical Engineering department for the remainder of the week. .
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Through regular one to ones, development plans and the use of Mentors, you will have the opportunity to shape your career within the organisation. We have many senior members in the organisation that started life as an MBDA apprentice.
