What will the apprentice be doing?

This is an exciting, brand new role which will provide the right person with the opportunity to help grow and develop the position and the Counter-Fraud Service. The role provides the Counter-Fraud team with high quality intelligence and data analysis and support in order to progress fraud investigations and undertake proactive anti-fraud work. The post holder receives and assess all fraud referrals into the Counter-Fraud team, undertakes data matching exercises to identify potential fraud and maintains the fraud case management system. As part of the role you will be required to undertake the L4 Intelligence Analyst apprenticeship. A full Job Description and Selection criteria can be downloaded during the application process.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

On completion of the apprenticeship you will achieve a L4 Intelligence Analyst apprenticeship.

The apprenticeship will be undertaken by Intelligencia Training Ltd.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

This is a permanent position based in our Counter-Fraud team which is part of the Council's highly regarded Internal Audit team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to progress a career within the Counter-Fraud service.
