Contrac are once again in a period of expansion. We have an exciting opportunity for 2 x Cyber Security Technologists to join us. Based at our Barnsley office, you will support the team to deliver cyber security solutions to deadlines and within budget you'll be required throughout your training and employment to learn to:
You'll be working within a small team and supported by the MD and Commercial Director. Travel to site locations will be required therefore a full driving licence and vehicle is essential.

GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent) in maths and English.

The possibility for a full-time position upon completion of this apprenticeship.
- Understand cyber threats, hazards, risks, controls, measures and mitigation and how to apply that knowledge to protect organisations, systems and people
- Follow Contrac IT's policies and procedures, and understand the fundamentals of cyber security
- Understand cyber security concepts applied to ICT infrastructure
- Prevent attacks and sources of threat
- Carry out regular risk assessments and provide solutions for remediation
- Assess customers' infrastructures and provide guidance and solutions for enhanced security measures
