    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Basic IT skills, including familiarity with the Microsoft suite of software, particularly Word and Excel
    • A good understanding of customer service skills, including responding efficiently and effectively to phone and email enquiries
    • Accuracy and attention to detail
    • Excellent organisational skills


    • Work experience of dealing with customers/clients in a formal environment
    • Experience of developing and maintaining a network of contacts
    • Experience of event planning
    • Experience of using social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook and YouTube
    • Experience of using a web content management system to update websites
    • Knowledge and understanding of the Higher Education sector and current trends and issues

    Desired qualifications
    • Essential: A minimum of 5 GCSEs, including English and Mathematics, at Grade A - C (or equivalent).
    • Desirable: A minimum of 3 A Levels at Grade D or above or equivalent, ideally including English Literature or English Language
