- The successful candidate should be interested in developing knowledge and practical experience in the application of analytical chemistry in the pharmaceutical industry
- A self-motivated individual with a capability of working and learning successfully in a work based team
- You should typically have three A levels which give 80 new UCAS points (or equivalent, i.e. Science BTEC qualification). This should include A level Chemistry, preferably at Grade B or above and 5 GCSEs at grade C or above including mathematics and English
This position provides opportunity to gain experience in a lab based analytical role gaining technical skills and behaviours which many graduates will have yet to be exposed to and develop. If you demonstrate practical ability in addition to problem solving ability there are limitless opportunities for progression within the Chemical Sciences sector.Things to consider
The role will be predominately lab based but will involve a significant amount of computer time to write-up and document work. The pharmaceutical sector is heavily regulated and this requires strict adherence to standard procedures with a high degree of integrity in all aspects of work.
