We are looking to a recruit a highly motivated and driven individual as a Therapy Technical Instructor & Occupational Therapy apprentice.

The post holder will carry out a Therapy technical instructor role alongside completing a 3 year Occupational Therapy apprenticeship. This job role will be offered subject to successful acceptance onto the University of Northampton OT apprenticeship program commencing September 2021.

Candidates need to be organised, reliable, self-motivated and have a passion for Occupational Therapy. The successful candidate will have an allocated 'mentor' within the department to help support their education and be the link between work and university.

The candidate will be expected to manage their own time effectively balancing clinical work and university work. Candidates will be released 1 day per week throughout the academic year to attend university.

The OT apprenticeship course fees will be funded via the apprenticeship levy.

We are looking for an individual who is dedicated to the organisation. Following the successful completion of the OT apprenticeship the staff member would transition into a rotational band 5 OT position.

This role includes weekend working.
