Our services include:

Mental health services
  • We provide a wide range of treatment and support to young people, adults and older people experiencing mental illness both as inpatients and within the community. This includes treatment in secure and specialised settings.

Community health services
  • Our diverse range of community health services provide support and treatment to both adults and children. We deliver this care in community hospitals, health centres, GP surgeries and in people's homes.

Learning disabilities services
  • We provide crisis support and inpatient services and our community learning disability teams work in partnership with local councils to provide assessment and support for adults with learning disabilities.

Social care
  • We provide personalised social care support to people with a range of needs, including people with learning disabilities or mental illness, supporting people to live independently.

We are able to offer an exciting job opportunity to an individual who meets the job specification to work within our Education Team as part of the Workforce Development and Learning department. EPUT is committed to the development and progression of our staff through apprenticeship programmes.

The successful applicant will be joining our team of Apprenticeship assessors planning, delivering and reviewing the in-house apprenticeship programs which are delivered within the organisation. As part of your role you will also be assessing students work and supporting them in their practice settings across the health care spectrum therefore contributing to their progression and development pathways. The successful applicant will also take part in review of programmes in relation to inspection by external agencies.

The role will require the successful post holder to be able to work across different Trust locations within Essex and be happy to engage in blended learning approaches. The role is designed to enhance the quality of the learning experience and to encourage and inspire staff with regards to their development and progression within the organisation. The role will positively contribute to the future development of existing and newly appointed staff to the organisation and supports the implementation of the Trust recruitment and retention plan regarding apprenticeships.

The successful applicant will be supported as part of the dynamic Education Team and Workforce Development and Learning department to influence the development of practice and apprenticeships across the organisation.
