Start Date
Duties will include:
  • Sorting out invoices for a host of clients
  • Preparing PDB and SDB summaries
  • Assisting with completion of VAT returns digitally
  • Assisting with all aspects of weekly and monthly payroll
  • Reconciling bank accounts for a sole trader, partnership, and private limited companies
  • Preparing Annual Accounts for unincorporated and incorporated entities up to a Trial Balance
  • Assisting with direct and indirect tax matters
  • Admin office duties

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Sound book-keeping skills up to a trial balance essential as job will entail preparation of annual accounts for micro, small and medium sized businesses
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets is essential.
  • Understanding of Quickbooks, Taxcalc and Brightpay is desirable but on and off the job training will be provided wherever appropriate
  • Highly numerate
  • IT literate
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Desired qualifications

For a graduate applicant, minimum of 2.1 degree classification (or equivalent) is essential.
