About the apprenticeship

We are looking for a passionate, motivated person who has the skills necessary to be an effective Finance Assistant at The Parish Trust, a registered charity. We are a small but rapidly growing charity, with a strong family feel. We have over 200 active volunteers working alongside us, and we are now looking to expand and develop our work.

We are a Christian based organisation. Whilst candidates don't have to be practising Christians to apply for this role, we expect them to be sympathetic to the values and ethos of the charity.

You will be an apprentice, and as part of your role, you will study towards achieving your Level 3 Apprenticeship in Accountancy whilst being on hand as our Finance Assistant.

The role of Finance Assistant is to assist Chair of Trustees and the Charity Treasurer in recording all charity spending, including purchases, invoices and sales and provide accurate information on charity outgoings for the purposes of filing accounts.
