We are looking for a Health Care Assistant to join our Children's Community Nursing Team in East Surrey.

37.5 hours per week (between the hours of 8am - 6pm)

12 month fixed term contract

Based at Redhill Aerodrome

Are you someone who enjoys a role where no 2 days are the same?

Are you someone who is interested in supporting a team both clinically and administratively? Would like to be more involved in patient care?

Working in the picturesque setting of Redhill Aerodrome, this is a unique post for someone who is looking for a combined 50/50 role between clinical care and administration. It is an opportunity for someone who has experience within the health and social care or education setting to enhance their clinical and administrative skills and experience. A positive attitude is essential as is the flexibility to meet the needs of the service.

You will be responsible for providing directed clinical care to children aged between 0-18 years at home, ultimately reducing the need for hospital admissions. The care will include assisting the nursing team with short term, long term and palliative care. You will work holistically, organising yourself between your clinical and administrative duties, allowing for a seamless service.

As a HCA we will offer you the opportunity to progress with options to take up the Associate Practitioner training and Nurse Degree Apprenticeship with option to complete Level 2 English and Maths where required.

If you are organised and caring and possess excellent communication skills we'd love hear from you!
