The Role

Applications are invited for the position of Student Nursing Associate Project Manager for The Hertfordshire & West Essex NHS Integrated Care System (ICS). The post is an exciting opportunity to develop and drive future recruitment of Nursing Associate apprentices across Hertfordshire & West Essex.

The post holder will have responsibility for supporting the implementation of the Student Nurse Associate (SNA) work programme. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring there are robust mechanisms in place to implement and monitor workforce initiatives relating to SNA opportunities across Hertfordshire and West Essex, including opportunities for direct recruitment. The role will also have the responsibility for supporting the ICS in the delivery of the wider workforce strategy relating to pre-registration and apprenticeship training and development.

The post holder will be expected to support the Student Nursing Associate Pipeline Manager, the HWE ICS Practice Education Facilitator and Personal Assistant in developing the SNA programme work with workforce programme leads and experts across the region and those involved in national project work related to the SNA programme. The post holder will support the development of initiatives by working with health and social care partners responsible for workforce and education through the relevant ICS networks, e.g. the SNA Steering Group, Deputy Directors of Nursing Group and Education and Training Forums with the aim of ensuring integrated workforce planning for the SNA pipeline.
